Shannon was raised in Macon, Georgia in a wonderful Godly home. She was baptized at a young age, but it was not until 1998 when she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit that she truly experienced the life-changing power of God. Scripture began coming alive to Shannon and for the first time in her life, she began to feel empowered to live the life God had called her to.
From the time Shannon was a young girl, the only thing she could ever tell you that she wanted to be when she grew up was a wife and mother. At age 34, Shannon married Trey, and their son, Levi, was born 10 months later. God certainly redeemed the waiting time!
Shannon's heart is for women, and she desires for marriage and family to become as important to God's children as it is to God Himself. Shannon has learned the importance of submitting herself to God and putting her hope in God alone, and she desires for others to experience the freedom of knowing who Christ is in them and who they are in Christ.
